PSEG Nuclear recently announced a series of leadership changes impacting its Salem and Hope Creek Generating Stations. Effective dates will vary to allow for proper transitions.

Current Salem Vice President Carl Fricker will be joining PSEG Energy Resources & Trading (ER&T) as the new vice president of trading support and operations. In his new role, Carl will be responsible for ER&T’s Decision Support teams as well as the Trading Operations team. This role will oversee ER&T’s trading portfolio analysis, systems support and applications development, SOX adherence as well as trading compliance. Carl has close to 30 years of military and commercial nuclear power plant experience including the past 18 years at PSEG Nuclear. In addition to his role as Salem site vice president, he also served as Operations Support vice president, Salem plant manager and a variety of positions in operations, maintenance and quality assessment.

John Perry will move over from Hope Creek to become the Salem site vice president. John has spent the past four years as Hope Creek site vice president after having served as the station’s plant manager for more than two years. John has more than 30 years of industry experience that will be invaluable as he takes over at Salem. He has been instrumental in Hope Creek’s success and will be equally successful at Salem.

Paul Davison will be the new site vice president at Hope Creek. Paul has served as the vice president of Operations Support for the past three years. He previously served as director of Nuclear Oversight. Paul has close to 25 years of industry experience including several years as Hope Creek’s engineering director. Paul’s previous work there will allow him to step right in and continue the station’s progress.
