The Utilities Service Alliance Communications team met at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations recently to discuss improving USA visibility at each site and sharing best communication practices.

To better align the communications team with the newly formed USA site representatives and corporate functional area managers, each communication member will support the site rep/CFAM at their corresponding plant.

During the day-and-a-half meeting, members shared plant communications along with best practices. The team was energized after Dave Lefor from Cook shared a sneak peek at Cook’s upcoming outage communication plan.

Other highlights discussed supporting the nuclear industry initiative Delivering the Nuclear Promise and utilizing social media to highlight plant successes.
