More and more nuclear plants across the country are using Twitter and other social media platforms to keep key stakeholders informed. In addition, several members are actively participating in the Nuclear Energy Institute’s (NEI) Social Media Task Force to develop best practices. Other fleet members are participating in NEI’s Joint Information System Task Force on how to use social media in the event of an emergency as well as the creation of a virtual news center.
