Since 1970, AIMCO has been providing superior Critical Fastening and Bolting Tool solutions for the Motor Vehicle, AG/Off Road, Electronics, Aerospace, Energy Services, and General Assembly Industries.
In 1999, AIMCO began manufacturing its AcraDyne line that produces a complete line of D/C Controlled Tools ranging from 1 – 12,000 Nm, custom built multiple spindle systems, as well as state-of-the-art tool controllers.
These cutting edge high torque tools are specifically designed for critical high torque bolting applications, such as the Energy Services sector, that demands tools which deliver high torque with superior performance and durability.
The precision design of the HT Series from AcraDyne combines these features in electric and pneumatic high torque tools that beat the competition on productivity and ergonomics. AcraDyne’s transducer torque control system provides consistent, reliable torque values as well as the ability to monitor rotational angle during the tightening process.
Our DC transducerized tools feature transducerized closed-loop control, NOT current control like most High Torque products, and are one of the only high torque bolting tools in the world with the transducer at the square drive, not before the gearing, like competing products. The torque reported is the torque delivered and is up to three times faster than the competition. AcraDyne produces one of the most accurate, high torque bolting tool lines in the world.
When combined with AcraDyne’s Controllers, customers experience a high torque critical bolting system that can handle the toughest and most important bolting jobs. The faster speed, coupled with its extreme accuracy, makes this bolting system an outstanding cost-effective investment.

PSG was founded on the combined legacies and experience of all the Airco Inc. companies, Turbine Generator Maintenance, and Orbital Energy Services; all companies with a solid track record and reputation.
Combined, the three legacy companies have been in the marketplace for over 75 years. PSG offers vast industry experience and expertise, allowing us to provide customers with the knowledge to guide them through any situation or circumstance they may be facing.
Airco began in 1994 as an Industrial Maintenance contractor in Savannah Georgia supporting piping and mechanical services in the local industrial market. Shortly thereafter, Airco had their first opportunity to provide union support for turbine field services within Southern Company. After that successful project, Airco spread their support to other power plants, and has become an aftermarket leader in union field services. This was the beginning of the successful growth of our steam and gas turbine field services along with other rotating equipment projects in both the power generation and the industrial markets. Airco has built a solid reputation of quality and value for both our customers and employees.
Turbine Generator Maintenance, Inc. (TGM) was founded in 1986 as a steam turbine generator maintenance company. The company has seen exponential growth for over 30 years, ultimately becoming the premier alternative to the OEM for non-union turbine services. In 2001, TGM added a combustion turbine service division, and a generator service division was added in 2009 – becoming a complete turnkey service provider.
Orbital Energy Services, (OES) founded in 1996, is the natural evolution of legacy company Orbital Tool Technologies. With the acquisition of Century Turbine Repair in late 2013, the integrated company set a new standard of service excellence with a broader portfolio, greater choice, flexibility and responsiveness, and well-engineered value-added solutions. The Gainesville, Georgia valve repair facility is one of the largest, most sophisticated, turbine valve facilities in the country. OES also offers at our Pevely, Missouri Steam Path Facility services such as nozzle and diaphragm refurbishing, blade bing befurbishing and beplacement barts, computerized area checks, seal and packing replacements and machining, complete NDE services, dish removal and re-rounding services and many additional services. OES is a value-driven organization, combining the collective technical knowledge and industry experience to form the best team in the industry. We are committed to safely providing service excellence in everything we do.
With these three legacy companies now together, Power Services Group is the leading non-OEM service provider in the industry.
