Utilities Service Alliance (USA) offers a wide variety of services to our fellow utility peers, supplier organizations, government entities and non-nuclear business organizations. Each of our services is tailored to the specific needs of the requesting organization to ensure that the greatest value for the dollar can be provided.
Nuclear Safety Culture Assessments
USA has developed the ‘gold-standard’ in the industry for assessing nuclear safety culture. A comprehensive survey tool is administered prior to an on-site week-long assessment of the station’s safety culture. A comprehensive and detailed report is then prepared and provided to the leadership team within a month of assessment conclusion. These assessments have been provided at several nuclear stations (USA and non-USA), nuclear suppliers, and government facilities. USA personnel proficient in the process can tailor the assessment to the needs of your business. Scope can range from administration of the survey tool only up to turnkey assessment and report generation. USA also has experience conducting culture assessments at a department level when only specific departments are having issues.
USA has also developed a simple, yet flexible process for conducting nuclear mid-cycle assessments. USA can work with you to find target areas for review and facilitate the scheduling and performance of the assessment up to and including a turnkey assessment. Once again, each mid-cycle assessment focus will be tailor made to suit the needs of each station.
Supply Chain Initiatives
USA has a portfolio of approximately 50 Supply Chain agreements that, under the correct circumstances, can be modified to include non-USA utility members. Contact us to discuss in further detail.
