The Utilities Service Alliance (USA) has named Andrew Brown as the fleet’s Manager-Performance Analysis effective immediately. Brown is on loan from fleet member Xcel Energy where he spent the past six years coordinating performance indicators, corrective action and other performance improvement related programs. He also served as project manager for the rollout of Observation Way and DashWay for Xcel and served as the DevonWay administrator for the past three years.

“We are pleased to welcome Andy full-time to the USA fleet,” said USA Vice President-Operational Performance John Christensen. “His knowledge and experience will be a huge asset as we continue implementation of the common USA KPI (key performance indicators) project.”

Reporting to Christensen, Brown will lead the latest phase of the project including forecasting, quartile designation, batch data entry, development of common dashboards and standard management review meeting (MRM) reports. As lead of the USA KPI steering committee, he will also provide KPI program governance and oversight. Additionally, he will provide ongoing support of USA DevonWay software solutions, be responsible for USA quarterly performance analysis and reporting and assist teams with individual and fleet performance analysis.

“I am excited to help the USA fleet with our efforts toward implementing common KPIs,” explained Brown. “This is a great opportunity to improve efficiencies for the entire fleet by better utilizing the existing DevonWay reporting software. I look forward to working with everyone across the fleet.”
