A message from Mark Reddemann, CEO Energy Northwest
Last week Energy Northwest honored those who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces. More than 25 percent of Energy Northwest’s workforce has served in the uniformed services and it’s a privilege to work with such a team of professionals who gained their job skills and reinforced core values while serving our country.
Energy Northwest is committed to hiring military talent, knowing first-hand that recruiting from the military community is not only the right thing to do, but it makes good business sense. The veterans we hire bring to our industry resilience and devotion forged in difficult environments, and a proven ability to overcome tough challenges.
EN was recently recognized as a 2016 Military Friendly Employer. Criteria for the designation include a benchmark survey score across key programs and policies, such as the strength of company military recruiting efforts, percentage of new hires with prior military service, retention programs for veterans, and company policies on National Guard and reserve service.
Energy Northwest will be showcased along with other Military Friendly employers in the December issue of G.I. Jobs magazine as well as on MilitaryFriendly.com https://militaryfriendly.com/.
