Energy Northwest receives honor for military employee support
Nuclear Security Officer and Marine Staff Sgt. Christopher Clouse nominated Energy Northwest for the Washington state Above and Beyond award. This award is one of the highest recognitions given to Washington state employers for their support of employees who serve in the National Guard or Reserve. CEO Brad Sawatzke and Sid Morrison, executive board chair, received the award in Olympia and signed a commitment pledge to continue to support EN employees in the National Guard or Reserve.
Clouse is serving with the Marine Corps’ Wounded Warrior Regiment and is working out of the Tri-Cities as a reserve Marine. He is responsible for helping injured or ill Marines and Navy corpsmen throughout the northwest transition back into civilian life.
