The Utilities Service Alliance fleet has several strategic focus areas and key initiatives for 2016:
Delivering the Nuclear Promise: USA will coordinate fleet support of industry actions and initiatives via the CFAMs and Core Peer Teams.
Station Recovery: USA will coordinate fleet support of stations in Recovery by providing review and challenge of action plans, and supporting recovery needs as prioritized by the USA Site Leadership Team (SLT).
Performance Monitoring: USA CFAMs will develop functional area scorecards and provide independent feedback on station performance to identify subtle areas of decline in performance. Early intervention and oversight of actions will occur when performance declines are identified.
Decay Heat Removal Hardening: Stations will receive on-site project team support and training on DHR Hardening Excellence during their Shutdown Safety Reviews.
Equipment Reliability/Preventive Maintenance: Continue fleet work on Single Point Vulnerability identification and mitigation, and PM basis and reclassification efforts.
