Columbia’s Dick Ehr has been named as the USA Site Representative/Corporate Functional Area Manager (CFAM) for Outages.

“I’m excited about this opportunity and looking forward to the new role and challenges,” said Ehr. “I have always been energized by my involvement in the USA and BWROG groups and have always wanted to devote more time and energy to their initiatives.”

Ehr started working at Columbia in 1981 during construction and start-up. He worked directly for EN for 29 years, 17 years in Design and Engineering and 12 years in Outage Management. During his tenure he has worked on several implementation projects, including deployment of the Asset Suite modules (back then it was just called Passport), Columbia’s upgrades and transition to Primavera Scheduling software and several Boiling Water Reactor Owners (BWROG) group design initiatives. Ehr is the current BWROG Outage Committee Chair and has led industry benchmarking trips to U.S., Finland and Spain plants.
