Monticello’s Kevin Jepson has been named as the USA Site Representative/Corporate Functional Area Manager (CFAM) for Chemistry.
“This is an opportunity to go back to my roots, and my passion for Chemistry,” Jepson said. “I spent over a decade in the Chemistry department at Monticello.” During those years, hydrogen water injection and zinc injection were both successfully initiated at the plant.
“It’s also really exciting to have some input and influence beyond our station,” Jepson added. “Being on this team enables me to contribute more broadly to the industry.”
Jepson began his career at Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant as a chemist. He’s also held leadership roles as the Station Recovery Manager, Assistant Plant Manager, and Radiation Protection and Chemistry Manager. Jepson received his Bachelor of Science, Chemistry, from St. Cloud State University and earned his Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) License from Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant. He holds a Masters in Management Science from Cardinal Stritch College.
