As a part of the new USA Governance and Oversight model, the USA BOD has also authorized the Vice President – Operational Performance to assume a corporate fleet role for stations in recovery. A recovery plant is designated as any station that has been assigned to the Escalate, Increased Involvement or Special Focus category by INPO.

The Vice President – Operational Performance is now taking on the following additional roles:

Take the USA corporate lead for coordinating fleet support of stations that are in recovery

Serve as the USA Fleet’s primary point of “corporate” contact for INPO for stations categorized by INPO as Escalate, Increased Involvement or Special Focus

Engage and collaborate with INPO/WANO personnel in technical departments, recovery, accreditation and plant evaluations to coordinate USA fleet support for effective recovery of station performance

Interact directly with station senior leadership on issues requiring fleet intervention and support

This new recovery role has already started with support being coordinated for recovery plants in their efforts to improve performance.
