The Utilities Service Alliance hosted supplier fairs recently at fleet members Columbia, Monticello and Prairie Island.
With more than a dozen vendors and a steady flow of employees visiting booths, the supplier fairs provided a unique opportunity for employees to network with industry suppliers and to learn about new and existing products and services available through the USA agreements.
“The USA Supplier Fair allowed supplier-partner representatives the opportunity to promote their goods and services and to make employees aware of what is available through approved USA suppliers,” said Jim Kitchens, USA Supply Chain Management. .
“These USA fairs present suppliers with a unique opportunity to interact with personnel at the sites involved with our projects,” said Paul Waterloo of AES Nuclear, Inc. “It was very beneficial for our corporation.”
