The votes are in. The 2014 USA Suppliers of the Year are AP Services (Curtiss-Wright), Material Supplier of the Year, and Rolls-Royce, Services Supplier of the Year. The winners were announced last week at USA’s 21st Annual Executive Summit.

Suppliers are chosen for this prestigious award by representatives from the twelve USA member utilities. Fleet members complete evaluations and scoring for USA suppliers based on multiple factors, including quality of products and services, continuous improvement and realized savings.

AP Services, a division of Curtiss-Wright, specializes in fluid sealing products and services. They also manufacture and supply mechanical valve and pump packing and metal and fabricated gaskets. They are a long-term USA supplier-partner and have been the recipient of multiple “Supplier-of-the-Year” awards. AP Services is based out of Freeport, Pa.

Rolls-Royce, also a repeat winner of the “Supplier of the Year” award, is a nuclear engineering and supply chain organization. They offer innovative, focused engineering solutions with start-up, design engineering, equivalencies, obsolescence solutions, construction, project management, up-rate, fire protection, procedure writing, and more. Rolls-Royce is based in Pittsburgh, Pa.
